Looking for a healthy snack with a crunch? We have found the one for you! A Reformer Pilates Client from Gold Coast Pilates who also stock our Non-Slip Grip Socks was kind enough to share her favourite crunchy recipe!
Ingredients:
- One cup of self-raising flour (Can be Gluten-Free)
- One cup of your favourite nut almonds pistachio
- One cup of your favourite dried fruits
- One grated orange or lemon rind
- Two Eggs
- Two Tablespoons of Honey
Method:
1. Pre-Heat oven to 180 degrees
2. Line a baking tray with paper in a bowl
3. Mix all the dry ingredients together and whisk in the eggs and honey
4. Knead up all the ingredients until it is a thick dough
5. Remove the ingredients from the bowl and roll the dough into a log - Brush with egg white
6. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes - Allow to cool
7. Once biscotti has cooled cut the log into thin pieces to make 20-25 pieces
8. Cook for another 45minutes at 100 degrees
9. Enjoy with your tea of coffee
